  1. Precisely Control the Water Temperature

Many high - end plush toys are suitable for being cleaned with warm water, which can effectively prevent damaging their soft texture. Generally, keeping the water temperature between 30 and 40 degrees Celsius is the most ideal. However, in hot summer, there is no need to add extra hot water. Using normal temperature water that has been exposed to sunlight to clean plush toys can also achieve good results.

  1. Classify Rigorously for Cleaning

When cleaning plush toys, it is essential to operate separately for dark - colored and light - colored toys and never clean them together. Once fading occurs, it is difficult to judge whether it has stained other toys. Especially for those solid - colored plush toys, such as pure white and pure pink ones, their appearance will be severely compromised once they are stained with other colors.

  1. Choose Detergents Prudently

When cleaning plush toys, it is advisable to give priority to neutral detergents (detergents specially for silk and wool are even better). Such detergents cause less damage to plush toys and can effectively prevent problems like hair loss and color fading. When adding detergents, it is necessary to strictly follow the instructions to control the dosage reasonably and avoid waste. Besides, coarse salt can also be used to clean plush toys, but attention should also be paid to the dosage.

  1. Standardize the Cleaning Operation

During the process of cleaning plush toys, never grasp or pinch them forcefully to avoid damaging the toys or causing hair loss. The degree of force should be determined according to the texture of the plush toys. If the plush is long, gentle operation is required; if the plush is short or there is no plush, the wiping force can be appropriately increased.
